After Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan compared Jews to termites, the social media platform Twitter announced that his slur did not violate the site’s rules, according to BuzzFeed News reporter Joe Bernstein.
Mediaite contacted Twitter for comment on the controversy, but did not receive a response by publication.
Farrakhan’s most recent anti-Semitic remarks were made during a speech this week that he gave to honor the 23rd anniversary of the Million Man March.
