Body guards of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan violently attacked protesters demonstrating outside the Turkish embassy Tuesday afternoon in Washington, D.C.
The men, dressed in dark suits, attempted to disperse the crowd, hitting and kicking protesters -- before D.C. police cleared the scene.
Many protesters were left bloodied. Nine people were reportedly injured in the melee, CNN reported.
