NBC Sources for Jim Jordan Accusation: Bernie Bro, Convicted Felon

The firm overseeing the probe is Perkins Coie, the firm linked to the DNC, Hillary Clinton, and Fusion GPS

One of the sources who recently emerged to accuse Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) — a possible candidate to become the next speaker of the House — of helping coverup molestation at the University of Ohio, is a convicted felon, and the other actively supports left-wing politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders and President Obama. The firm overseeing this investigation, Perkins Coie, is best known for its relationship with the DNC, the Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama campaigns, and the controversial firm behind the "Trump Dossier," Fusion GPS.

NBC, which originally broke the story, did not disclose the accusers' possible political motivation for coming forward 15 years after the alleged inaction.

Dunyasha Yetts, who wrestled at Ohio state from 1993-1994, says Rep. Jordan, who was then an assistant wrestling coach, that he should have known the team doctor, Dr. Richard Strauss, was too "hands on" during consultations. Dr. Strauss died in 2005 after committing suicide.

Ironically all of the former Ohio State wrestlers who spoke to NBC News attested to Rep. Jordan's integrity.

Rep. Jordan, Yetts told NBC, is actually a "great guy."

"We would have all these great talks with him and he talked about how one day he’d be the president of the United States," Yetts said. "So it’s sad for me to hear that he’s denying knowing about Strauss. I don’t know why he would, unless it’s a cover-up. Either you’re in on it, or you’re a liar.”

Another wrestler, Michael DiSabato, who created a video detailing the accusations against Dr. Strauss, called Rep. Jordan "a friend."

An unnamed wrestler who spoke to NBC said: "I love Jimmy [Jim Jordan] to death."

DiSabato says he told Rep. Jordan in the spring he planned to go public with accusations against Dr. Strauss, and Jordan replied, "Please leave me out of this."

That angered DiSabato, who told NBC, "he is absolutely lying if he says he doesn’t know what was going on.”

The accusations against Dr. Strauss involve inappropriate touching and showering with the male athletes.

What NBC didn't report is the potential political provenance of Jordan being brought into the investigation.

DiSabato, who created the video of testimony against Dr. Strauss that was supplied to NBC, could have a political ax to grind. His Facebook page shows he's a fan of the left-wing commentator and former Obama's "green czar," Van Jones, the far-left Internet show, The Young Turks, both Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, the left-wing website The Huffington Post, the socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, and various other liberal causes and personalities. The photo DiSabato uses as his profile picture is the notorious image of black American athletes making a black power salute during the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.

Yetts is a felon who has spent multiple stints in prison. He was convicted of stealing $2 million from unwitting investors. NBC did acknowledge this part of his past, quoting Yetts saying: “I am not a perfect person, but ask any of the wrestlers and they will tell you everybody knew about Doc.”

The law firm overseeing this effort is Perkins Coie, which was recently exposed as serving as a conduit between the firm that compiled the "Trump Dossier," Fusion GPS, and the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and earlier, the Barack Obama campaign. Perkins Coie was effectively laundering these funds so that, owing to attorney-client privilege, it was impossible to tell who was financing Fusion GPS's work against Trump. The information only became public after subpoenas were issued by the House Intelligence Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, on which Jordan serves as one of the more vocal members.
