After 17 years, Andrea Mitchell will officially be stepping down as a full-time news anchor at MSNBC on Friday.
The veteran journalist, 78, announced on Monday’s broadcast of her long-running weekday program Andrea Mitchell Reports that this Friday, Feb. 7, will be her last day. However, she will remain with NBC News as its Chief Washington Correspondent and Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent.
