The Trump administration is canceling $400 million in federal grants and contracts for Columbia University after the anti-Israel campus protests last year.
The strong action is being taken 'due to the school’s continued inaction in the face of persistent harassment of Jewish students,' according to Trump's agency heads.
The move represents only a first round of funds cancelled and additional cuts are expected.
