Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released a signed statementfrom a former DC weather anchor who claimed he knew one of Brett Kavanaugh’s accusers. He also said in that statement that her father told him once told him she had “psychological problems.”
Julie Swetnick, the woman who claims Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh attended gang-rape parties when he was in high school, dated WJLA weather anchor and former Democratic Congressional candidate Dennis Ketterer in the 1990’s, according to a signed statement from Grassley’s office.
Ketterer had met Swetnick in 1993 at a Washington D.C. bar during a going away party for a Channel 7 colleague of his. Ketterer says he was overweight at the time and did not understand why she was talking to him but that she continued to keep in touch with him.
According to Ketterer, who was married at that time, he and Swetnick never had sex — she was sexually aggressive with him and they talked about sex instead.
