KERIK: "You know what, Brian, it’s a shame. In this case you have a 13-year-old on a 15-year-old. The 13-year-old can’t be charged as an adult, but the 15 can. The bottom line is , this was an armed robbery and carjacking. Anywhere else, these kids, at least a 15-year-old would probably be charged as an adult and there would be prison time. I think it’s outrageous that there’s a lack of accountability. But this is what happens in cities like Washington, D.C., Portland, Seattle. New York City. You have a district attorney that’s not prosecuting violent crime to the fullest extent of the law."
