Biden: ‘My Name’s Joe Biden, I’m a Democratic Candidate for the U.S. Senate’

‘Look me over, if you like what you see, help out; if not, vote for the other Biden’

Joe Biden desperately needs a win in South Caroline to save his faltering presidential campaign — so speeches like last night’s confused, gaffe-riddled trainwrecks of an appearance in Charleston is precisely the opposite of what his advisors were hoping for.

Biden appeared alongside other 2020 Democrats at the First in the South Dinner in Charleston, where the former vice president confusingly told the crowd he’s running for the Senate.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate,” Biden said. “Look me over, if you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden.”

It’s unclear who the other Biden is he was referencing.

The comments were only the latest that raised concern about his mental acuity and ability to manage affairs of the United States.

At an earlier appearance in Charleston, Biden tried boasting of his record on gun control, wondering aloud, “Who in God’s name needs a hundred rounds in a bullet?”

He quickly added, “-- In a clip with a gun you have!”

Earlier this month, Biden confused the larger political world after he attacked a young woman as a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier.”
