Bill Clinton: Wells Fargo Was The Most Admired Big Bank Before The Recent Fraud (NTK Network)
During a campaign event in Flint, Michigan, Bill Clinton said that Wells Fargo was “perhaps the most admired bank in America because they didn’t go all in on this subprime mortgage gamble and collapse the economy.”
It’s not surprising that Bill Clinton would speak so highly of Wells Fargo when you consider the Wells Fargo Foundation gave between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
Even less surprising is that in 2011 Bill Clinton gave a speech to Wells Fargo for $200,000.
