EXCERPT:

EARHARDT: “Well she claims to be a staunch defender of women in the #MeToo movement, but when it comes to her husband’s affair with a White House intern here is what she had to say."
[clip starts]
REPORTER: “In retrospect do you think Bill should have resigned in the wake of the Monica Lewinsky scandal?”
CLINTON: “Absolutely not.”
REPORTER: “It wasn’t an abuse of power?”
CLINTON: “No. No.”
REPORTER: “There are people who look at the incidents of the 90s and they say a president of the United States cannot have a consensual relationship with an intern, the power imbalance is —“ [crosstalk]
CLINTON: “Who was an adult."
[clip ends]
EARHARDT: "Here to react staff writer for 'The Federalist Bre Payton. Bre, do you agree with her."
PAYTON: "Absolutely not. Everything that she said was absolutely wrong. Of course Bill Clinton abused his power when he had an affair with Monica Lewinsky. Sure she was an adult. But when you take power like somebody being the president of the United States and someone being intern she wrote herself in Vanity Fair article that that kind of renders consent moot. It’s patently obvious that he abused the power of the Oval Office. And for Hillary Clinton to still be in denial of that 20 years later now goes to show you why she lost last Novem -- November of 2016."
