Chris Wallace: Biden’s ‘Ain’t Black’ Comment Was a ‘Really Inappropriate Thing to Say’

‘There are lots of ways of saying my civil rights record is a lot stronger and longer than Donald Trump’s’

EXCERPT:

WALLACE: "Well, I love that comment from the Trump campaign, or rather from the Biden campaign, the more Trump talks, the better off Biden is. I think it may be also that the more Biden talks, the better off Trump is. It was a really inappropriate thing to say. You know, there are lots of ways of saying my civil rights record is a lot stronger and longer than Donald Trump’s. But to say that if you are voting for him and not for me, a white man telling a black man you are not black, that is just, you know, giving a lot of ammunition to his opponents in this campaign. And it's one of the reasons why I think a lot of Republicans and a lot of people in the Trump campaign are frustrated that Joe Biden remains largely hidden, sequestered in his basement of his home in Delaware because he’s kind of able to not make those many gaffes, and if he comes back on the campaign trail, history would indicate, there will be a lot of good things he says and a lot of very questionable things he says as well."
