CNN, MSNBC Coverup Bombshell Report Obama DoJ Colluded to Spare Hillary Prosecution

Neither network has reported on news that collusion indeed occurred in the 2016 race

CNN and MSNBC have breathlessly hyped “collusion” in the 2016 campaign since President Trump’s inauguration. It’s one of the most frequently used words since rumors first started circulating that Russia played a role defeating Hillary Clinton.

While these networks have treated the story to round-the-clock coverage, its biggest proponents concede there is yet to be any proof that such collusion occurred.

On Monday, hard evidence finally landed that collusion did in fact occur during the 2016 campaign. Yet somehow these networks have yet to report the bombshell development.

On Monday, Rep. Doug Collins (D-Ga.) released transcripts of testimony from an FBI agent involved in the Clinton probe, Lisa Page. In those transcripts, Page details how the FBI planned to charge Clinton with “gross negligence” regarding her mishandling of classified material.

That is, until the Obama Justice Department gave the FBI a stand-down order.

“The Justice Department’s assessment was that it was both constitutionally vague, so that they did not actually feel that they could permissibly bring that charge,” Page told the oversight committee

"When you say advice you got from the Department, you’re making it sound like it was the Department that told you: ‘You’re not going to charge gross negligence because we’re the prosecutors and we’re telling you we’re not going to,’” Rep. John Ratcliffe (D-Texas) asked.

“That’s correct,” Page confirmed.

In other words, Hillary Clinton — in the heat of a presidential campaign — received a get-out-of-jail free card from the same administration she helped lead at the State Department. It came not long after her husband controversially met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on an airport tarmac.

It’s textbook collusion, yet somehow this bombshell report hasn’t even registered on the radars of CNN or MSNBC, the networks leading the Trump/Russia “collusion” narrative.

As of the time of publication, neither CNN nor MSNBC has reported on this story once. According to a search of Grabien’s database, “Lisa Page” has not been mentioned once on MSNBC since her testimony was released. On CNN her name has been used three times, although none of these instances related to her reporting on the Obama Administration’s interference in FBI work.

Fox News, by contrast, has covered this story extensively, with 93 mentions of Lisa Page since her transcripts were released.

CNN did report on the story online, although only to “fact check” President Trump, who mentioned it on Twitter.
