COMEY: "The report will speak for itself. I don’t believe the FBI concluded that Steele’s reporting was bunk after talking to his sub source. As the director you are not kept informed of the details of an investigation, so no, in general, I didn’t know what they learned from the sub source, I didn’t know the particulars of the investigation."
