BROWN: “I don’t think if it’s about forgiving Democrats. I think it's about folks who squarely, where the blame resides, and that's President Trump who ten days ago took ownership for the shutdown. He said he would be proud to have a shutdown. Voters won’t forget that, and certainly the residents of my congressional district. Again, fifth largest number of federal government employees who want to be on the job, they really do. Many of them work without pay, it's created a lot of uncertainty, unpredictability and angst during the holidays.”
