Deutsch to Trump: ‘We’re from Queens, I’ll Meet You in the Schoolyard, Brother’

‘This is where this needs’

A host on Morning Joe responded to President Trump's critcizing his co-host  by threatening to fight the commander in chief.

Donny Deutsch addressed Trump directly and said, "We're from Queens; I'll meet you in the schoolyard, brother."

"He's a coward!" Deutsch said. "He's a coward!"

When his co-host, Joe Scarborough, said it's time to take the conversation "out of the schoolyard," Deutsch countered, "I don't want to!"

Here's a transcript:

SCARBOROUGH: “I would not allow, I've got four kids, I would not allow any of my children to behave this way, and if they did behave this way one time, I would take care of it. Instead, a lot of these Republicans and cabinet members are going, 'oh, it’s disappointing.' Would you say that to your five-year-old if your five-year-old smacked or insulted somebody? No.”
DEUTSCH: “If somebody said this about my daughter. Once again, I’m going to elevate the conversation. Donald, if you're watch: We’re from Queens. I’ll meet you in the schoolyard, brother. I'll meet you at the school."
SCARBOROUGH: "Oh, God."
DEUTSCH: “No I'm serious. I’m sorry. This is where this needs.”
SCARBOROUGH: "Can we get the sunglasses back on?"
DEUTSCH: “He’s a coward. He’s a coward!"
SCARBOROUGH: "We want to take it out of the schoolyard."
DEUTSCH: "Well, I don’t want to."
SCARBOROUGH: "I do. I want to teach my children to treat people with respect, and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. And stop the insanity. We’re not going to get Washington fixed as long as this continues and as long as Republicans turn a blind eye to --"
