Fmr. CDC Director Robert Redfield: RFK Jr. Is Going To Be ‘the Most Consequential Health Secretary We’ve Ever Had’

‘Our nation is sick’
By Grabien Staff

EXCERPT:

REDFIELD: “I think as RFK has said, and I've said this publicly before, I think he's going to be the most consequential health secretary we've ever had. Unfortunately, our nation is sick. And so our children are sick. And this is what this report does, initially, it's an assessment of the state of health of American children and America in general. I mean, I think it's just shocking to find out that approximately 75 percent of the young people between the age of 17 and 24 can't pass a medical exam to join the armed forces. I think it's shocking to find out that 20 percent of our adolescents are obese, or that 38 percent of people under the age of 20 have type 2 diabetes. So it's time to try to get at the root causes of our chronic health problem.”
