A federal judge in Texas ruled the Biden administration made mistakes and violated the law when the Biden team tried to undo this policy, ordering it to be restored. The policy is formerly known as Migrant Protection Protocols or MPP. The Department of Homeland Security telling Fox News in a statement late yesterday, 'As we have previously stated, we are required by court order to re-implement MPP. In compliance with the court order, we are working to re-implement MPP as promptly as possible. We cannot do so until we have the independent agreement from the government of Mexico to accept those we seek to enroll in MPP. We will communicate to the court and to the public the timing of reimplementation when we are prepared to do so.' The timing of the reinstating of the policy, this is something that is not clear, although we do know that remain in Mexico, the controversial policy under former President Donald Trump, will be back in action as soon as the Department of Homeland Security puts it back in action."
