On Fox News’ Outnumbered on Monday, host Kennedy explained that last week’s special election in Georgia was supposed to be a referendum on President Trump, according to the Democrats. But it may have turned out to be a rejection of longtime House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi instead of President Trump as the GOP repeatedly tied Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff to Nancy Pelosi and Republican Karen Handel ultimately came out the victor.
According to The Hill, the Republicans plan to use Pelosi against Democrats in future elections.
There have been a number of calls for the House Minority Leader to step down following the Democrats’ devastating loss in Georgia’s sixth congressional district. But Pelosi has implied that she is not going anywhere, even claiming to be “worth the trouble”.
