SCOTT: "First off, the president did a great a job with the early declaration before the storm hit the coast. That was a big deal. It helped out all these first responders. And then how fast you've approved, through FEMA, the individual assistance, the public assistance. It's a big deal. Everyone in this community, these are not rich — these are not rich communities, many of them struggle, so what the federal government is doing, by FEMA being a great partner and the federal government being a great partner, is a big deal. So I want to thank you for doing that. It's very important that you do this."
