Gregg Jarrett: Comey and Mueller Are the Definition of the ‘Disqualifying Conflict of Interest’

‘It’s a friendship that is viewed as likely to induce partiality’
By Grabien Staff

EXCERPT:

HANNITY: "You have been able to identify very specific statutes and laws, as you explain them. For example, 28 CFR 45.2 disqualification statute. Why don’t we put them up on the screen and you can explain them and what they mean?"
JARRETT: "It essentially means that if you have a personal relationship with somebody substantially involved in the case, you shall not serve as special counsel. It goes on to explain what a personal relationship is. It’s a friendship that normally is viewed as likely to induce partiality. Well, Sean, you might as well put a picture of Mueller and Comey together next to the statute. They are at the definition of a disqualifying conflict of interest."
