Jordan Sekulow: A Special Counsel Is Needed to Investigate Uranium One

‘You can start the initial preliminary investigation without a special counsel’
By Grabien Staff

EXCERPT:

HEMMER: "Now, you support a special counsel, correct? You're on record saying that’s what you think is necessary here."
SEKULOW: "I think it would likely lead to that because of the conflicts at the Department of Justice. Rod Rosenstein the deputy AG who was the acting AG for the Trump/Russia. And he appointed that special counsel -- he was involved in the prosecution, Bill, of one of these Russian officials that was doing the bribery for the Uranium One deal in 2015. He sent him to prison and prosecuted him. So he has probably got a bit of a -- maybe a conflict there."
