EXCERPT:
BARRO: "I think the answer is going to be that his budget will not shrink the debt, that it will grow it. I suspect Donald Trump will get out there and say we'll be so rich and the economy is going to grow so fast and that's going to pay for everything. Now it’s clear the White House is going to issue economic projections that aren't all that rosy. It's going to be a little bit faster. They are looking for 2.4 percent growth this year. But I would expect that when Donald Trump talks about the economy, he'll say 2.4 is a floor and we are going to hit really big numbers, we are going to be so rich and that's what’s going to pay for it. So that's -- I -- I think he will say he has an answer whether or not he does."
