TRANSCRIPT:
LAKE: "Federal agencies have done a lot to hurt our businesses, hurt our state. Frankly, I don't think the government runs anything very well. And the federal government — (Applause) — think that they can come down to Arizona and tell us how we should be doing things. That’s like, really a bad idea. I mean, I trust the Arizona government more than I trust the federal government. So let’s bring back our state’s rights, let’s not have all of these federal agencies trying to destroy business. If we — if we want explore green energy, we should do that. And if we can find a way to make an inexpensive, make it work and make it reliable, I think all of us would be for that. But I love the good old Palo Verde nuclear power plant, and I want to bring more nuclear power to Arizona and we can export that energy."
