EXCERPT:
ROVE: “No, no, no, you are missing the story. You are missing the story. It has no statutory authority to step in and do something against somebody. They may be able to come out and publicly condemn them. They may be able to come out and say, 'This is happening,' but the credibility of this board is shot already by the fact they appointed this woman. And they knew it. They appointed her apparently two months ago and we find out about it yesterday. The real purpose of the board is to distribute money. It does have authority to distribute money and they have made it clear, Mayorkas has made it clear that they will put a priority on minority communities who are being misled by disinformation, with a special emphasis on Hispanics. Now let's think about that for a minute. What is the one group in the electorate this year that Democrats are nervously shaking their hands over because they're afraid they will see a significant drop in the support for Democrat candidates? The Hispanic community. So this sounds like a political gambit being led by somebody who has no credibility in leading such a board concerning disinformation."
