LOESCH: "Yeah, and, Tucker, from what I read, too, that bail apparently was higher than one of the illegal immigrants that came into the United States and was planning a July 4th terrorist attack along with another illegal entrant to Virginia. They were armed and they were found out and they were arrested, but apparently — I read a report just shortly before coming on to your program that it was something around $15,000. That's what their bond was set at. It’s amazing, the story of Jose Alba and the bodega, because clearly Alvin Bragg, the D.A. here, values criminals and the safety of criminals more so than he values innocent people. Look, I get that Democrats think that being a victim is a virtue, but it’s not. It’s time in America that everybody just kind of follow what I like to call the F.A.-and-F.O. creed of self-defense. If a criminal wants to bust up into your home in the middle of the night and try to take you on, the consequence of that, Tucker, is they may get shot. And it may be with someone who has a sporting rifle and they have a 30-round magazine. If someone wants — a criminal decides to bust up and beat up an old man in a bodega, he might get stabbed. That’s a congruence of being a criminal and screwing around with violent behavior. It’s time that lawmakers stop shaming innocent people like Jose Alba for simply defending himself. You’re right, it’s a fundamental right."
