Rep. Maxine Waters is thinking a few steps ahead.
After Democrats take over the House of Representatives, Waters said one of the first things they'll do is impeach President Trump.
But that's not all.
Speaking Saturday to a group of Democrats in Los Angeles, Waters said she was asked about Vice President Pence.
"I had a conversation here today, when someone asked, 'Well what about Pence? If you were able to impeach, Pence will be worse," the congressman recounted.
"And I said, 'Look, one at a time.'" Waters said to rapturous applause. "You knock one off -- one at a time. You knock one down, and then we go after him, too."
Waters did not explain the grounds on which she would seek to impeach Pence.

WATERS: "And so we have a responsibility to continue. I had a conversation here today, when someone asked, 'Well what about Pence? If you were able to impeach, Pence will be worse."

"We cannot be intimidated. We cannot be made to fear anybody who would interfere with our ability to have a decent quality of life."
