Before today Hillary Clinton had avoided holding a press conference for 260 days. Today she invited National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists to a press conference in Washington, D.C., and it’s hard to see what she’s been so afraid of.
From the moment she began to her closing remarks, Hillary received regular, rapturous applause.
When she singled out Jorge Ramos for praise for getting on Donald Trump’s nerves, the gathered journalists applauded.
When she said President Obama does not get the credit he deserves for restoring the economy, the journalists applauded.
When she talked about leaving her position as Secretary of State with a 67 percent approval rating, the journalists applauded.
