MSNBC’s Ruhle: Isn’t ‘What Stays at Georgetown Prep’ the ‘Kind of Thing’ That Raises a ‘Red Flag?’

‘Isn’t that a reference to something really naughty that you do in Vegas, but for other people it might not?’

RUSH EXCERPT:

RUHLE: "Joyce, what raises red flag? Because something that does stand out here in the era of me, too, for the most part when we hear these stories, it’s a he said/she said followed up by a she said, she said, she said, and thus far we haven’t seen a trail of other accusers come out, and “The Washington Post” obtained a transcript of a speech Kavanaugh gave in 2014 at Yale law school federalist Society where he was talking about drinking with his buddies and how what happens on the bus stays on the bus. Now, we also heard him speak to Georgetown prep and say the same thing. Is that the kind of thing that draws a red flag? For me I’m going, I don’t know, isn’t that a reference to something really naughty that you do in Vegas, but for other people it might not?"

VANCE: "It’s exactly why we need to have full investigation here. The Republicans seem focused on ensuring that this never passes beyond the he said/she said stage, but what prosecutors and investigators are used to doing is going out and investigating thoroughly. There may be other witnesses, folks that either one of them spoke with at the time. It would be interesting to see their school records just to get your arms around whether any evidence exists. Did either one of them keep a diary or talk to their parents. So that’s the kind of work that’s done."
