Pelosi Heckled at While Deriding Tax Cuts as Anti-God: ‘How Much Are You Worth, Nancy?’

Pelosi: ‘We are not talking about that’

While condemning the Republican tax cuts as being antithetical to God, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was heckled Tuesday at a townhall event in Phoenix, Ariz.

Pelosi quoted Martin Luther King during her anti-tax cuts broadside, saying, "God really didn’t intend — never intended for one group of people to live in superfluous inordinate wealth, while others live in abject deadening poverty."

An unknown woman soon shouted, "How much are you worth, Nancy?!"

Pelosi quickly attempted to quiet the heckler.

"No, we’re not talking about that," she said. "So in any event — I can now — you know I’m a mother of five I can now speak louder than anybody."

Pelosi, for the record, has an estimated net worth of $29.35 million, according to Roll Call.
