Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) says he'll "take cyanide" if Ted Cruz wins the Republican nomination. "I hate Ted Cruz," he said during an interview today on "Morning Joe."
The hosts jokingly introduced King as the "Nassau County Chairman for Ted Cruz for President."
“I’m not endorsing Ted Cruz," King quickly clarified. "In case anyone is confused. I think I’ll take cyanide if he got the nomination. I think you’ll see Donald Trump scoring a big victory tonight."
"I did not endorse Donald Trump," King said. "I voted absentee John Kasich. ... I voted to send a message."
