Donald Trump, who on Wednesday called on Russia to hack into Hillary Clinton's email to locate the 30,000 emails she deleted, now says he was just being sarcastic.
He appeared this morning on "Fox and Friends." Here's an excerpt:
TRUMP: "His client, his person deleted 33,000 e-mails illegally. You look at that. And when I’m being sarcastic with something, first of all —" KILMEADE: "You’re being sarcastic." TRUMP: "Of course I’m being sarcastic. The real problem is what was said on those e-mails from the democratic national committee. You take a look at what was said, it’s disgraceful. They talk about religion, talk about race, all sorts of things including women. What they said on the e-mails was a disgrace."
