At his rally today in Orlando, Fla., Donald Trump instructed his followers to "solemnly swear" to vote for him. Here's the transcript:
“In Florida, you can vote early. Go and do it. Go vote. OK, wait, let’s do a pledge. Who likes me in this room? [Applause] Ok. I've never done this before. Can I have a pledge? A swearing? Raise your right hand. I do solemnly swear that I, no matter how I feel, no matter what the conditions of hurricanes or whatever — [audience repeats] That’s good enough. Will vote on or before the 12th for Donald J Trump for president. Thank you, now I know. [Applause] Don’t forget, you all raised her hand and you swore. Bad things happen if you don’t live up to what you just did.“
