Why are we subsidizing the military — it’s one thing if a country is in deep trouble and in danger and it’s a horrible thing going on and it could be something ugly and I millions of people could be killed, but when you have wealthy countries like Japan and South Korea, why are we subsidizing their military? The problem is, nobody ever asks. They don’t ask.
