Victor Davis Hanson: We Have to Introduce a Nuclear Japan and South Korea To Pressure China

‘Why that we don’t have a missile defense system that includes Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines’
By Grabien Staff

EXCERPT:

HANSON: “I’m happy they had some U.N. sanctions, only because it drives a wedge, a little wedge, at least, between China, Russia, North Korea. The North Korea propaganda minister called them riffraff today. That’s some help. But ultimately, China is the only country, as you said, that can pressure North Korea, and we’re the only country that can pressure China. And if it is intolerable to threaten Seoul with a preemptive strike and it’s intolerable to allow them to have missiles that can take out Facebook, Google, and Apple within 45 minutes and a million people that live around them in Menlo Park, then we have to find a new strategy to escalate gradually up into in-between those poles."
