HOSTIN: "-- in terms of the -- the wealth gap and I’m curious about reparations, because you’re so thoughtful but I didn’t think your answer during the town hall was very thoughtful. Are you supportive of cash reparations for the African-American community?”
BUTTIGIEG: “I’m supportive of the concept of acting proactively to right these wrongs. I don’t know that — if it’s perceived though as just a check in the mail system, I think we’re going to have a hard time coming up with something that everybody can believe is fair.”
