FRANKEN: “Oh, yeah, well, that’s the whole — the wokeness part is a problem. You know, I was talking to somebody today just about comedy and about there’s so many of my comedian friends who won’t do colleges now. You know, you used to do pretty sophisticated, edgy stuff that you had to think about, and now any — anybody who can possibly take offense can find a way to take offense. This is like we’re returning to a different kind of — you know, Lenny Bruce got thrown in prison for saying stuff that needed to be said. But I have so many friends that won’t do a college. And it really is too bad and stultifying for our debate, and it’s not good.”
