[Navarro] ‘I‘m Latino, and my people are being racially profiled’
By Grabien Staff

EXCERPT:

SINGLETON: "I purposefully misheard it?"
NAVARRO: "Yes, you did."
SINGLETON: "So now you're in my brain? Is that where we‘re going?"
NAVARRO: "You think I will say, I, who have advocated for black people my entire life, would say something like that? Give me a damn break."
SINGLETON: "Because you‘ve advocated for black people. Great. Congratulations. Last time I checked, I‘m black. You‘re not."

PHILLIP: "Okay, Shermichael — "

NAVARRO: "That‘s right. I‘m Latino, and my people are being racially profiled and unfairly treated."

SINGLETON: "And do I have to remind you the history of my people? If you want to go there — do you really want to go there?"

NAVARRO: "I actually know the history of your people. You know why? Because — "

[cross-talk]

PHILLIP: "We‘re going to go to break. Raul Reyes, thank you very much for joining us. Everyone else, hang tight. We'll be right back."
