AVLON: "There’s a danger of going toe to toe, the arguments other campaigns would make you don’t want to drag the debate into the gutter, fight fire with fire the whole house burns down. You have come under criticism, “L.A. Times” reporting Twitter took 70 associated accounts off line and that most recently you did a debate video which was doctored, took a fair point Bloomberg saying I’ve started businesses as anybody else but extended the responses to make it look like it was simply crickets. Are those fair criticisms and what is the danger of going too far?"
O'BRIEN: "Those are fair criticisms. All of us have to do the right thing on social if you’re going to battle with Donald Trump, we don’t want to lie or misrepresent, I don’t think we want to use the kind of hateful tactics he uses. A couple times I think we’ve gotten out over our skis but pulled that back internally. For people to be creative and aggressive they need breathing room. But we don’t want them to go too far. In cases where they have we’ve pulled it back."
