Buck: We Don’t Need Anybody at the RNC Stoking People to Do Primaries, That Hasn’t Been Healthy for My Party

‘This is a, I think, a pretty destructive way to go about running a party’

EXCERPT:

BUCK: "Well, that’s a constant fear. And we don’t need anybody at the RNC stoking people up to do that. And I mean that I think, frankly describes a huge element of what Republican politics is today. Everybody only really cares about their primary, I guess I would argue that hasn’t been very healthy for my party. And I think Mr. Hogg may find himself as a former vice chair of the DNC if he if he isn’t careful here. And this is a, I think, a pretty destructive way to go about running a party. If your party is constantly obsessed with appeasing the base, you end up eating yourself alive and you can’t get anything done. I’ve talked about this in the past. I just think this is a very unwise path to go down, and they’ll come to regret it if they actually do it."
