EXCERPT:

JENNER: "I first got there I flew in the day before, the first day there they had a helicopter for me. We can travel around the country, we went to the site of October 7, which was I mean you just cannot believe that one human being can do that to another person literally coming in, unarmed people and just mowing them down to a concert, young people. That was the most difficult thing that I’ve everything to take. Then we went to Jerusalem and shows you how diverse, Jerusalem I’m sure you been to Jerusalem.”

BARTIROMO: “Yes I have.”

JENNER: “Maria?”

BARTIROMO: “Yes, I have.”

JENNER: “Yes, here you have all the religions of the world in one place. The difference between the Muslim community and let’s say the Catholic community is a street. Everybody lives there in harmony. It is a wonderful place that’s pretty much the whole state is. Going to Jerusalem and spending time there. Then that night was the first time we got alarms. The next day was supposed to be the pride event. The alarm started going off all of my people that were handling me were in hotel rooms right next to me, they came raining and grab all your stuff and we get down the safe room. In the shelter, we have Israelis and Americans we have Muslims and everybody. Right below in my hotel room is a mosque you people don’t realize Muslims of theirs and Christians lived there but it is a Jewish state run by the Jewish faith. It is a very diverse country and unfortunately, the next day was the pride event. It was obviously canceled with literally thousands of people had come in from all over the world, the second largest pride event in the world takes place in Tel Aviv. Most people don’t know that. It’s a very open country. I honestly felt guilty leaving. I got on my plane and going home and I thought I’m leaving all my friends, besides the bombing we had a good time there are such great people I had to leave that’s why I called them every day I had to do it last night, how did you do. I was fortunate I met this great lady while we were there at the hotel she has a travel agency, that was a way I called Darrell Issa all the people in the State Department and called everybody but she was a travel agent and she is from Israel but lives in the United States. U.S. citizen and she was able to work it that I could get out and she actually went with me getting across the border, getting to Oman, to fly out of there. Since then I had somebody people texting me. I have friends or family that stuck there, even my family members have friends that are there. I gave them the number of the lady and she helped hundreds of people get out to a safe place where we can get a flight to make it home. I got a text from one of my members at the golf course where I play. He had family over there and he cannot get them out. I gave them the numbers and they sent me a picture of them on the plane coming back from Israel. Honestly it made me feel good that we can help these people out."
