CBS’ Reid Grills Kudlow Over Trump’s Absence on Covid: ‘Where Is the President? 2,000 People a Day Are Dying Right Now’

‘Larry you and the president are always quick to take credit when things are going well for the economy, so where is the president now when so many people are suffering?’

EXCERPT:

REID: "Where is the President? You know, there’s 2,000 people a day that are dying right now of Covid, obviously having an economic impact. Where is the President’s leadership on this?"

KUDLOW: "I don’t understand, in reference to what?"

REID: "Where is the President? We’re not we’re hearing from him about Covid, or about economic relief, or about helping these people who are unemployed."

KUDLOW: "Well, he has spoken on unemployed. He favors a targeted assistance package, he's always favored that. So that's point number one. Point number two — we're not going to sell this here, but I would say to you that he has put together a remarkable infrastructure, in just a few months — six or seven months — to fight Covid. And it's a global event. I mean, all the countries are having the same problems but I will say this, his Operation Warp Speed, which he developed and led, has produced — you know, help is on the way.”
