ALLEN: “We have to remember that schools are not super spreaders. Everyone from UNICEF to Harvard to OECD, the international places, have said that our kids should be in schools. You can safely distance them. You can spread out teachers so they are safe. And then you can have the kind of environment if people need it and if they choose it. That’s really what it boils down to. Had we sent money to the kids and to the parents when this pandemic happened, we would have much better education, our kids would not be going down the tubes in terms of their education even more. And this is just going to be irreversible unless we head it off at the head right now.”
