WATLINGTON: “Well, you know, in the — in the — in the climate we live in now, there is always this notion about making public health a partisan issue. We are standing with the science, we have a medical officer on staff in the school district, who is — who works — and we work very closely with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health. Not everyone agrees with the decision. But we think it’s the right decision to keep our students and staff safe, because we want our staff and students to be in school and have really good attendance when we return.”
