FAUCI: "Well, first of all, I have always, throughout the many years, now over 40 years that I have been — almost 40 years that I have been director of the Institute, I have testified before Congress literally hundreds of times and I respect the concept of oversight. So I’m perfectly willing to testify before Congress about any issue that they want to look into. But, you know, to me it’s, 'Come on, I have nothing to hide.' I’ve done everything that I believe should have been done in the arena of public health and science, and I would be more than happy to explain that publicly before a congressional committee."
