EXCERPT:

WASHINGTON: “People need to know that if we are approached with hostility or our people feel uncomfortable, we do disengage.”
MARTIN: “And when you say you're approached with hostility, that's from anybody, whether there's a -- well, I'll ask you this way. Have you noted, have you noted, have you ever noted any hostility from people who had Biden-Harris, Harris-Walz signs, or did you report any hostility from people who had no signs in their yards?”
WASHINGTON: “There you go. Yes. That is the whole point.”
MARTIN: “On both, on both accounts.”
WASHINGTON: “Yes. On both accounts. Yes.”
MARTIN: “So let me just be clear. So there have been -- you're saying that there have been -- there have been times when your teams went out and someone may have had a Biden-Harris or a Harris-Walz sign in their yard, your team felt uncomfortable and face hostility and they reported it back to you and you all said, 'Skip that home.'“
WASHINGTON: “There have been -- yes, not on this specific deployment, but yes, there are, there is a record of that in the past. What you have to understand is everybody is not happy with FEMA, because if their applications are not approved or something didn't go the way they expected it to go, sometimes when we come back around for another disaster, they don't want to see us and they, and they passionately let us know.”
