JORDAN: "No, you're exactly right. Understand what Fauci knew right from the get-go. He gave the money to EcoHealth, EcoHealth wasn’t properly vetted, did not comply with their grant requirements, wasn't reporting like they were supposed to, they then sent the money — EcoHealth then sent the money to a lab in China that wasn't up to code and was doing gain-of-function research. And what happens we get a deadly virus that comes from the very city in China where that lab is at, but Dr. Fauci says, 'No, no it didn't come from a lab. It was a bat to a pangolin to a hippopotamus to Joe Rogan, and then millions of people get this virus.' I mean, nobody believes that, but Fauci still insists that’s what happened. And what did he do? So, Steve, he knew all this on January 31st, 2020, almost three years ago. What did he do? The very next day, February 1st, he organizes a conference call and only him and Collins get on that call with eleven virologists. He didn’t tell the president, he didn't tell the other experts in the government. He gets on this conference call so they can get their stories straight and continue to mislead the American people and mislead the world, and we all know the implications and consequences of this whole virus and what it did to our liberties, what it did to our economy, what it did to kids' education, and on and on it goes. But he knew from — he got an e-mail, January 31st, 10:32 P.M., from Dr. Kristian Andersen, and that e-mail says, 'Virus looks engineered, virus not consistent with evolutionary theory.' That’s a fancy way of saying, 'This thing came from a lab.' And he downplays it, changes his story, and he calls folks like you who had the truth, he says, 'Oh, you are a conspiracy theorist. Jim Jordan is crazy if you think it came from the lab.' Well, we think it did because that’s where all the evidence points, for goodness sake. So, yeah, we're going to investigate this. This guy is bad news, and you know it and so many other people do as well. "
