Joe Biden Challenges Reporter Asking for His Medical Records: ‘You Want to Wrestle?’

‘I’ve released my medical records’

Former Vice President Biden has an unusual approach to clearing up concerns about his advanced age.

Wrestling.

On Friday a reporter from the Huffington Post asked the Democratic front-runner if he would commit to releasing his medical record to “address concerns” about his age.

"Yes — what concerns, man?,” Biden replied. “You want to wrestle?"

"When will you release them, sir?" the reporter, Igor Bobic, tried again.

"Well, when I get the next physical. Look, I have released my — before there's a first vote, I'll release my medical records,” Biden said during a campaign stop in Texas Southern University. “I mean, there's no reason for me not to release my medical records."

Over the last couple of years, Biden has occasionally expressed interest in physically fighting people — specifically President Trump. Earlier this year, Biden said Trump is the kind of guy he’d “beat the hell out” during high school.

Speaking at a rally at the University of Miami, Biden said: “A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it’… They asked me would I like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.'”

In 2016, he said at a Hillary Clinton rally he’d like to beat up Trump:

"But what he said he did and does is a textbook definition of sexual assault. And -- no, no, think about this. It's more than that. He said because I'm famous, because I'm a star, because I'm a billionaire, I can do things other people can't. What a disgusting assertion for anyone to make. The press said don't you wish you were debating him? No, I wish I were in high school so I could take him behind the gym, that's what I wish."
