EXCERPT:
CONCHA: “But to get back to the RNC real quick, Steve, last night, the ratings will be out later for day one. And I think ratings do mean something in terms of enthusiasm, people tuning in, they are curious about the message. C-SPAN’s live feed on their YouTube channel, night one of the DNC had 76,000 views. Night one of the RNC so far has 425,000 views. That’s five-and-a-half times the number of views, right? So we saw Joe Biden’s speech last night. 22 million people did tune in, Steve, but that was 15 million less than the President’s State of the Union Address earlier this year pre-pandemic when he could actually go out, and 40 percent lower than Donald Trump’s RNC address in 2016. So it appears that people are tuning in a lot more to the RNC than the DNC right now. You have to wonder does that translate to enthusiasm around the party. I would say it does, Steve."
