Yesterday, in fact, real GDP growth in the second quarter increased at a 3.0 percent annual rate, significantly above expectations. President Trump's America First policies are driving economic growth, as he always said they would, and this growth is being driven by the private sector, not the government. Federal government spending fell for a second straight quarter, while real business fixed investment rose by nearly 2 percent following its first quarter surge.
