PANETTA: "No, I think there is a sense that these wars have to be brought to a conclusion. But they have to be a successful conclusion. I don’t think it’s just a question of simply pulling our troops out of Afghanistan and letting it go to hell. That, frankly, is what happened in Iraq. And you don’t want to repeat the same mistake.
